By combining the strengths of Bycast® StorageGRID® software for storage management and data protection with COPAN Systems’ Revolution 300 Enhanced MAID platform, these storage technology leaders are delivering an active archive solution that preserves the integrity and security of mission-critical digital assets. The integration of COPAN Systems’ Revolution 300 Series Enhanced MAID platforms with the Bycast StorageGRID software delivers an end-to-end archiving solution that integrates with external applications using standard CIFS and NFS interfaces. The joint solution provides online business continuity and scales from 20 terabytes to configurations spanning many petabytes and multiple sites. Total cost of ownership for archiving is dramatically reduced by combining StorageGRID’s task automation and optimal utilization of storage capacity with significantly lower power and cooling costs of the Revolution 300 MAID platform.
